Maine Sunday Telegram art critic Dan Kany writes, ” Isaacs’ painting is easy to like: it is jaunty, loose and bold.  He has an easily discernible, color-driven style that is immediately appealing and rooted in unexpectedly diverse systems sensibilities.”

Henry Isaacs received his BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA in Printmaking from the Slade School of Fine Art in England.  He has taught and lectured around the world and his work is in numerous public and private collections.  Henry splits his time between Portland and Little Cranberry Island, Maine
