Ken Greenleaf’s career started in New York with a solo show at Tibor de Nagy in 1973. Since then he has had numerous solo shows in New York and others cities, as well as several in Maine. He has been profiled in the New York Times Magazine, and his work has been reviewed in the Times, Arts, ArtNews, Art in America, Artforum, and other publications. His work is in a number of private collections, including the Whitney and the Farnsworth. Known mainly for his sculpture, in recent years he has turned to more graphic work. His current shaped paintings revisit the concerns of many of his large sculptures.
