Martin Kremer’s early glass career evolved from Japanese-style art glass lamps, elegant jewelry boxes and decorative hanging panels. More recently he has concentrated on creating fused glass vessels of stunning form, color, and texture. He has begun creating sculptures of various sizes inspired by sources such as Japanese architecture, sculptor Richard Serra, and glass maestro Lino Tagliapietra. Influenced primarily by texture and pattern from many sources, some of his major sources of inspiration also include Native American fabrics, Italian masonry, classic American quilts, and wood marquetry.
